Trust & verification

Anyone receiving a package can look up a TAM-ID and see the driver’s name, vehicle, area and whether their credentials are current. No account needed.
Who are the drivers?
Independent local drivers who have passed an identity review before they can take any load. Each one has a TAM-ID that anyone can check on our public verification page.
How does payment work?
Shippers add money to a wallet by card. The delivery fee is reserved when you post a load, or when a driver accepts it, and released only when you confirm the delivery. The driver receives 88% and TAM Freight keeps 12%.
What happens if I do not confirm a delivery?
You have 24 hours after delivery to confirm or open a dispute. If you do neither, the delivery is confirmed automatically and payment is released.
What if something goes wrong?
Open a dispute from the load page within 24 hours. The funds stay reserved while we review the photo, signature and timeline, then pay the driver or release the funds back to you. Lost or damaged freight is a matter between you and the driver, so insure valuable items.
Can I ship medical items?
Yes. Loads can be marked medical, and the driver sees the handling notes you add. You are responsible for packaging and labelling that meets the rules for the items. Some goods, such as hazardous materials and controlled substances, cannot be shipped. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
How do drivers get paid?
Drivers keep a wallet balance from completed deliveries and can request a payout of $10 or more. Payouts are reviewed and sent by our team, and drivers are emailed when theirs is sent.
Is there a subscription or listing fee?
No. There is no subscription and no fee to post a load. TAM Freight keeps 12% of the delivery fee on completed deliveries.
